The North Carolina Apple Festival is a four-day celebration in honor of the North Carolina Apple held every year on Labor Day Weekend in Hendersonville. We’ve had the Apple Festival for over 70 years.
Apple Festival has a street fair on Main Street with live music and entertainment. There are venders selling fresh picked local apples and apple products, art, crafts and all kinds of things. There are children activities, car shows and educational exhibits. The local businesses have sales and specials for Apple Festival. The Western North Carolina Air Museum has antique airplane fly-bys.
Bring an appetite! Local orchards have samples of all the different types of apples they grow.
Everything Apple is there to eat, as well as funnel cakes, cotton candy and all the other traditional fair food.
Monday morning has the King Apple Parade down Main Street.
